Sushi chefs versus giant sea monsters

I’m loving all the short films currently being made to showcase the work of their creators or to make proof of concept pitches.  There’s a lot of talent out there and it’s exciting to think some of this ideas might roll out into bigger productions.

The latest I’ve seen is Monster Roll by Dan Blank.

That was freaking awesome.

The idea alone is solid gold but it was deployed really well and I can’t wait to see more of that “big knife” – hell this would make an amazing video game!!!

I hope someone picks up Dan’s work and lets him run with it.

      That last shot on the jetty is the money shot though the sumo taking on the giant crab looked pretty damn awesome

        yeah agreed there as quite a few “money” type shots, I hope its gets funded. Have you ever seen a movie called Big Man Japan?
